In 2001, independent production company Migrant Media released Injustice, a groundbreaking documentary examining deaths in police custody and the experiences of bereaved families seeking justice.
The film brought together a number of families whose stories had received little national attention, documenting their long struggles for accountability and exposing recurring concerns around police investigations, inquests and institutional failings.
